Civil Air Patrol Honor Guard stands watch over U.S. Capitol wreath

WASHINGTON, D.C. —In tribute to America’s veterans and as one of December’s nationwide Wreaths
Across America observances, a Civil Air Patrol Honor Guard will help place a remembrance wreath in
front of the U.S. Capitol at noon EST on Dec. 6. Over the following six hours, the honor guard —in
accordance with military tradition —will stand watch over the wreath, which honors the 25 million men
and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces and guarded and preserved America’s freedom
throughout history.
