Microsoft Cyber Defense Operations Center Tour

Thursday, 07 June, 2018
16:00 - 17:00

Microsoft’s Cyber Defence Operations Center (CDOC) is a 24x7x365 cybersecurity and defense facility that brings together security experts and data scientists from across the company to help protect, detect and respond to threats against Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure, products and devices, and our internal resources in real-time.

CDOC tours are generally reserved for Microsoft’s largest customers & government officials, but they have made a rare exception to allow our squadron to tour the facility.

The tour will begin in the CDOC Customer Engagement Room, where a cybersecurity subject matter expert will provide an overview of the current cybersecurity threat landscape followed by an introduction of Microsoft’s security strategy and commitments: Protect, Detect and Respond. After the briefing, the guide will escort you into a viewing platform, where you will watch a short video featuring Microsoft Azure CTO Mark Russinovich and Microsoft Cloud CVP Julia White. You will then be able to look into the actual operations center and see our cybersecurity teams in action. After a brief overview of the function and organization of each area within the CDOC, the guide will open up the tour for questions and answers.
